With the feud between Alexandrians and The Saviors starting to simmer, “The Walking Dead” wrapped up the 6th season of the critically acclaimed franchise with an extended season finale.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the 6th season finale will be 90 minutes instead of the typical 60 minutes, much like last year’s finale. According to showrunner Scott Gimple last year, they needed the extra thirty minutes because there was too much storytelling to cram into sixty minutes. Hopefully, this means that the season finale will be properly paced and maybe the writers will reveal this season’s elusive, and highly anticipated, villain Negan.
The final episode of Season 6 airs Sunday, April 3 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
