It has been reported for some time that our favorite TV superheroes will be making the leap across networks to do a crossover episode. When this was originally a rumor, It was met with differing levels of belief simply because there was a doubt that both networks would be able to work together in order to give fans something that they did not know they wanted. Leave it to Greg Berlanti, writer, and producer of The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and The Arrow, to convince the executives of CBS and Warner Bros to join him on this crazy adventure to join both of these powerhouse superhero characters.
The Flash twitter account (@CW_TheFlash) just announced that the crossover episode will happen on CBS March 28th at 8 pm est. There hasn't been an announcement on whether or not Supergirl will make an appearance on The Flash. If the ratings for the upcoming crossover episode are as high as the folks at The CW and CBS expect, then it is a definite possibility that we will see another crossover episode in the future.
As with The Flash's "Flash of Two Worlds" promotional poster, the Supergirl/Flash poster is a recreation of a comic book cover starring the dynamic duo. It was originally released in Aug. 1967.
