Ravi delivers the news to Major and Liv that the cure is temporary. My first thought was, "Yay! Now they can be together while Ravi pinpoints exactly when Major will revert back into a zombie." Major will eventually become a zombie again due to the nature of the cure. Blaine’s reaction to the news is priceless “Do I need to add brains to my Christmas list?” I couldn’t love Blaine anymore if I tried. The sarcasm, the snarky remarks, and the general lack of empathy for those around him (except on Christmas) just touches my heart. Maybe it's because he becomes a kind and generous soul or maybe it’s just because he’ll be a zombie soon, either way, I still love Blaine. Liv’s brain of the week is Santa himself, however, they skipped the recipe so we don’t know how he was prepared. I’m thinking with sugar cookies and brains. Liv still helps Clive as an attempt to get back in his good graces. While the trio Liv, Major and Ravi search the field for the dead bodies full of tainted utopium. Love scorned Rita tries to turn Vaughn (her father) against Major and get him cast out of the company. After Vaughn praises, his work and Major even give him a fitness bracelet.
Blaine has an interview with the FBI agent that is screwing Clive because she showed up unexpectedly, she almost saw the yellow brain delivery container. After about a week Clive relents and allows Liv help out with “one” case because she knows zombie high so well. Zombie high is a fictional show the Liv is obsessed with. Now we have a second zombie meal a star actor prepared in a subpar method. She put it on top of a microwave meal how far we’ve fallen Liv. Major is tested by his employee mostly because he isn’t sleeping with the boss’s daughter anymore. He passed when Vaughn nearly kills the “Whistleblower” in his secret zombie facility and major didn’t stop him. Clive’s sex buddy sees a sketch of the suspect in the meat cute murders and, of course, it’s Blaine.
Review: What was the point of the Santa clause case in the beginning if they weren’t going to solve it or relate it to the main case of the week? Why did she even need to eat Santa brain? Since the case took place after the New Year. This episode wasn’t bad, it helped increase my love for Blaine, gave hope that liv and major will one day be together again, Liv once again joined Clive in detecting evil doers, and Major is one step closer to taking down Vaughn. Why doesn’t anyone care that liv isn’t talking to her family? Major and presumably Peyton know her family so why hasn’t either of them tried to help her reconcile with them? Why hasn’t anyone noticed major’s freezer of zombies? Average episode, but still a lot of unanswered questions
Final Score: 5/10 Power Ups
