Liv sneaks into her apartment only to find her roommate awake. Liv confesses she has been sleeping at her boyfriend’s house much to the dismay of “Glinda”. Rita then tries to sabotage the relationship by telling Liv that she and her ex tried but all the problems remained.
The victim fought back against her attacker almost killing him until she is shot from behind. When Clive finally shows up at the murder scene he realizes that he use to date the victim but doesn’t take himself of the case. The police even find Clive’s guy under her car. At which point he is removed from the case. The police even have a recording on the victim’s phones of Clive telling her to leave him alone.
Ravi and Liv go to the drycleaner’s that had a problem with the victim where liv gets a flash of the husband tossing a book over “padlock’s bridge” and concludes the two had an affair.
Liv tells “Glinda” about going through Major’s Phone and confronting him about Rita. To “Glinda’s” dismay Major tells liv that Rita is a mistake that happened when he was at a low point to which “Glinda” replies he needs to be punished. Liv then breaks into a police vehicle to help solve the murder case only to be trapped inside when the officer comes back to their car. Turns out the car belongs to the chief who has stolen evidence from the police station. Liv is arrested after being discovered in the chief’s car. She is imprisoned with the general population and isn’t allowed to receive her “special” meals. After two days she is released just before she goes full zombie and eating her cellmates brain. Which her cellmate would have desired you don’t annoy people when you’re in a confined space its common courtesy.
Ravi brings her the remaining murder victim brains and she gets everything that was in her possession when she was arrested including a picture, the original picture which has the murder victim wearing the same ring as the drycleaner.
Vaughn Du Clark shows his daughter the new Max Rager drink which helps zombies move from 3 mph to 10 within seconds the only problem is that is causes bouts of anger. Later while he is training with major he reveals how much stronger it makes him and give a couple cans to major for his zombie extracurricular activity however Vaughn also attacks another man with a medicine ball because he kept grunting while working out.
After she gets out of jail and solves the murder liv rushes to try and open the safe and Major catches her. She opens it and he has cleaned everything out of it (the serum to knockout zombies and the hit list) except for Liv’s engagement ring. She feels foolish and they drift off to blissful sleep together only for liv to be woken up a few hours later by a text from Rita. Liv of course texts her back only to have Rita send a picture of herself in a nightie (from the neck down)
Review:
Sadly, no Blaine this week but crazy Liv did make up for it in spades. Her obsessive need to know what was in Major’s safe came too little too late. I wanted her to follow him and discover his freezer of zombies but alas it wasn’t that time.
This episode should have been called the dangers of being a dick because every time a person was either nearly mauled or attacked it was because they were being a dick that lacked common courtesy for their fellow man. The woman in the jail cell totally deserved to have her brain nearly scooped out and eaten because she was loud and obnoxious in a very small enclosed space. I’m actually more surprised that the other prisoners were so understanding and didn’t say or do anything. Dick number two was medicine ball guy. I think that guy learned a valuable lesson about keeping your mouth shut while exercising. This annoys everyone around you and distracts from their workout leave the grunting in the bedroom.
Lastly is Major because he is a zombie hunter by night and leaves his phone unlocked next to his crazy obsessive zombie girlfriend. He got off easy with the picture what if it was a zombie kill list? Or something that completely revealed to Liv that her boyfriend is a murderer that is killing zombies. Lock your phone or turn it off so it doesn’t buzz in the middle of the night.
