Liv and Major are back together which we know from her walking out in his shirt and his goofy morning grin. Liz suffers through the brain of a compulsive gambler. Liv then meets a truly scary man who describes how to murder someone in the perfect way; you make them kill themselves by holding the family or whoever they care about hostage. Then after they kill themselves you clean up the loose ends.
Clive has a near miss as the court house steps are sprayed with bullets, killing a witness that was about to testify in one of the previous cases. While on a date with his FBI friend, he tells her about the brain and she agrees to test it to see if it’s human. Clive also drops Major’s name as a connection to the meat cute murder right as Major and Liv walk up the street towards them.
Ravi reminds Liv that they don’t know enough about the transmission of zombism for her and Major to have sex because it’s not like he was a zombie before or anything. They argue about the effectiveness of condoms against zombism which I personally think they should include in the package (when used correctly effective against 99.9% of all zombie viruses.) In an attempt to have a sex life, Liv and Major enjoy a night of strip skyping (high card strips) while they wait for Ravi to finish testing.
Blaine’s Father brings the family war to Blaine’s business when he has one of his hitch men summon Blaine and kill one of his zombies. He also had him followed the last time he came to his office which lead him to discover Blaine is no longer a zombie as well as lead the hostile takeover against Blaine and steal his “off the books” business. Blaine kills his grandfather so he can give the brain to his father. Just as he puts it into the Tupperware dish he finds out his father has gone missing like many of his rich clientele.
Peyton just happens to be in a nearly empty office building late at night with none other than the guy that described the perfect murder earlier. He rearranges her white board to make himself appear less guilty then turns to talk to Peyton. After Peyton refuses the bid, scary guy gives her a subtle warning then leaves her office.
Apparently after talking to Liv Major decided to freeze the zombies instead of kill them. He has an out of the way storage area where he keeps the last of his zombie victims.
Review:
I’ve been looking at the blinking line for nearly an hour trying to think of something to write about this episode and I still have nothing. It was way better than the other episodes but I just feel like that’s because we’re getting close to the end.
Final Score: 6/10 Power Ups
