"Captain America: Civil War"'s premiere is right around the corner and fans have been clamoring for more information about the highly anticipated blockbuster. An international TV spot was recently released showing the All American superhero surrendering to law enforcement. William Hurt's Secretary of State Thaddeus Ross informs Captain America that there will be consequences to his actions who later explains to Black Widow (played by Scarlett Johansson) that he can't stop.
"Captain America: Civil War" is about the consequences of the Avengers actions in the previous film "Avengers: Age of Ultron".
"Political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability when the actions of the Avengers lead to collateral damage. The new status quo deeply divides members of the team. Captain America (Chris Evans) believes superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without government interference. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) sharply disagrees and supports oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out feud, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must pick a side."
"Captain America: Civil War" hits theaters May 6th.
