1. Generations: Bring back our toddlers and teens! The complaints have been pouring in since both have been missing since the release of the Sims 4. While teens are present, they are difficult to distinguish from the young adult. Simmers have been asking Maxis to add pre-teens and make specific life events that is only available to certain age groups. How cool would it be for your child sim to experience a first crush or your preteen sim to have a first date?
2. University: Who needs education? We do. The College experience was one of the better additions that the Sims incorporated into its franchise which leads to it being noticeably missing from Sims 4. While I’m sure it will be added in the future, as of now I miss the college parties and the added benefits that college provided. Also if private schools, boarding schools, and night school could be added with this pack. That would be amazing.
3. Pets: Who doesn’t want a cat to scratch the sofa or a puppy to pee on the floor? I know my Sims want something small to play with. Besides, the interactions that the children can have with the pet are my favorite.
4. Supernatural: Who needs magic? Me that’s who. While some argue that the last version of this included too much magic I don’t think there is such a thing. Give me witches, fairies and vampires galore.
5. Seasons: It’s always sunny in willow creek which sucks. Give me your rain, your leaves, and piles of snow. Snowmen and summer breezes, these are the things my Sims deserve. Unique games like Marco polo and water balloons fights and festival opportunities. Not to mention the new clothes and snowfall in the house. One more thing that was missing from the previous seasons iteration was Santa Claus. In The Sims, we got the ability to see Santa in action if you had a Christmas tree, chimney and cookies.
6. World Adventures: New skills, new landmarks, mummies and neighborhoods. How I miss the trips around the world. Being able to learn Snake charming and Martial Arts was great as well. These would provide new vacation sites that are better than the camping as well as making Sims “worldly” plus the visa aspect of it. While this wasn’t the most popular expansion pack, there was a lot of potential here. I believe if the Sims team added some popular vacation cites then this EP wouldn’t have been a bust.
7. Apartment life: The best thing about apartments is the landlord is both the maid and the repairman. Also you could have roommates that pay half the rent, add money to the family fund and are basically NPC’s that we don’t have to take care of. However, if they get too dissatisfied they will move out leaving the rent on your Sims.
8. Nightlife: This expansion back added subways and other public transit options. We also experienced high rises, lofts, actors etc. New food restaurants and even food trucks and carts. Grocery stores and farmer’s markets would be a lovely addition as well. Libraries, and playgrounds and would be great for this expansion pack as well.
9. The Sims Superstar: While Nightlife added celebrities to the Sims 3, I want to take things back to the Sims 1. Superstar not only added celebrities, they also added paparazzi, rabid fans and Studio town. Studio town was a back-lot where Sims could perform tasks related to the entertainment career.
10. The Sims Hot Date: I’m taking this back to Sims 1 again. This is an expansion pack that I have missed since the Sims 1. While we currently have dates in the Sims 4, I miss being able to actually go on a picnic date and have old lady Crumplebottom bother you when she sees two people displaying affection publicly. I miss actually restaurants that you can actually enter with hosts, clumsy waiters, and 5 star chefs. Right now, the dates feel empty.
