Greeting my Random Fandom! I hope all is well.
We will swing into today's topic of The Huntsman’s prequel/ sequel entitled The Huntsman: Winter's War. Now, I know what you’re thinking. How can it be both a prequel and a sequel? My question to you is, after you have watched the trailer, how could can you only see it as one or the other? The fact that we see the Huntsman, and who we can assume to be his wife, means that we can presume that at least part of this movie has to be, at the very least, prequel-esque in nature. Then, if we factor in that the Ice Queen had to resurrect her sister, Raveena, means could be partially a sequel.
With that out the way, I have to say that I believe it looks leaps and bounds better than the first movie that came out in 2012 that starred Kristen Stewart. Based on the trailer, this one is something I feel I could pay for and get my money's worth from it. The trailer provided both action and intrigue while creating questions about the plot and events for which people would pay to find the answers.
Now, if you aren’t intrigued by anything else, be drawn in by one of my favs, Charlize Theron and all her badassness throughout the trailer. If she wasn’t bad enough for you in the first movie she will damn sure up her game in this one. Not to mention, she has the Evil version of Elsa (Disney’s Frozen) as her sister on her side in a head to head clash with the illustrious Huntsman and his possible wife. I think it’s worth a watch, but check out the trailer in the play button below and see for yourself my Ranfans form your own opinions and let me know.
